You can import tasks from Monday.com boards by clicking the "Import tasks" button on the top of your tasks or by right clicking on a task and selecting the "Import tasks" option.

Select then "Monday.com" in the list of import options and enter your Personal Access Token from Monday.com and click "Connect to Monday.com".

Once done, you will be asked to select your Monday's board you want to import. Select it in the dropdown menu and continue.

You will then be asked to match your Monday's board columns with Planless.io fields.
Make the matches you want to import and Continue. (be aware that certain fields need a certain formatting to be imported correctly. See the section about this below).

If your import contains Team members, it will be asked to you to match them to existing team members, create new ones or ignore them.

The same goes then with Skills.

Once done, just select the destination of your import and finish your import.

Certain fields need a certain formatting to be imported correctly.

  • Min and Max Efforts: Need to be Numbers or Float values
  • Priority: should have one of the following values. "Normal", "Medium", "High" or "Urgent".
  • Status: should have one of the following values. "todo", "inprogress", or "done".
  • Due date and Delay date: should be dates

How to get your Personal Access Token in Monday.com

Inside of Monday.com, click on your avatar on the bottom lefty corner and select the "Admin" menu. Then go to "Api".

Under the "API v2 Token / Personal API Token" click generate.

Copy your token and paste it in Planless.
